a quick visit to Clumber Park on Monday 14th May
still lots of St Georges - Calocybe gambosa around in several locations,

and an early Boletus luridiformis, which is not unusual from this particular location
just a single, well eaten specimen at the moment, but previous years have yielded around a dozen or so in this spot,

this is another species that has been appearing in the same spot and at roughly the same time  for the past several years now,
although this years crop is more numerous and of a larger size than in previous years, probably due to the spell of wet weather we have been having, as the last 2 or more years we had a dry spell at this time of year ?

and this one has been popping up in one and twos almost all year round too, for the last few years too, Coprinus domesticus  ila_rendered
